It is only a few minutes to walk to the beautiful coast trail, famous seafood restaurants. And we were just here and could reach everything by foot, which is nice with the small children. Many cars coming to this place on week-ends from the Valley as on a short-vacation. The location of the apartment is just perfect. We also had the ocean view from the front windows. The apartment is clean and very useful for children.
The apartment has everything we needed, filled with the kitchen stuff, washing/dry/dish-wash machines. Thanks to Ralph who made filling of our stay really as a second home. Very pleasant place for long stay with childrenĪs family of 5 (with 3 small children), we spent almost three months in Coronado Apartments. We’ve got exactly what we were looking for based on the description provided by the owner. Great place for people looking for home away from home The owner Ralph was a welcoming, gracious host. The apartment was clean, and it was well furnished with everything you could need. There several great small restaurants nearby. From the house, we walked to the beach and the hiking trails. You could see and smell the ocean from the living room, and the town of El Granada was a quaint quiet, California beach town. We spent a month in our wonderful unit and had an amazing time. Restaurants, bars and beach life are an easy walk away. The accommodations are in a quiet neighborhood that has everything one would need be it for a weekend or a year. Ralph, the owner, was very friendly and helpful with suggestions to accommodate our stay.Įl Granada is similar a little Southern California beach town without the crowd. Would definitely recommend this rental property. Safeway is conveniently located in Half Moon Bay along with great coffee shops and many dining options. 3-Zero at the local airport was best for breakfast and Sam’s Chowder House was excellent for lunch and dinner. Short drive to various beach accesses, hiking trails and great food. Spent first two days in the San Francisco area, which was less than a 30-40 min drive depending on traffic. Fresh carnations upon our arrival was a nice touch. Just 4 miles north of Half Moon Bay and only two blocks from the beach with multiple access points to the California Coastal Trail, the location could not be beat! Our Coronado was completely furnished, clean comfortable, met our needs, and close to all our destinations.
Great week, great stay at Coronado Apartments I’m missing the sound of the foghorn that could be heard in the distance, since I’ve returned to Pennsylvania.

Towels, toilet paper, comfortable beds, easy to access wifi, cable TV and a washer and dryer were provided, and appreciated after a long day exploring the many areas nearby. The unit is small, but adequate for a small family or 4 adults. Our unit had a view of the Pacific Ocean which was a short walk away, as was, a craft brewery, the post office (for sending our loved ones a postcard), a hardware store that had the best coffee and tea and other goodies and the Miramar Beach restaurant and Sam’s Chowder House.
Just a short 30-40 minute drive fro the city, this rental was clean, neat and perfect for myself and 3 other adults. Our rental in El Granada was a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco.
